Gender Sensitivity Training


[𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃] The Faculty and Staff of the College of Development Management participated in the Gender Sensitivity Training organized by the Human Resource Management Division and Gender and Development Office on December 2, 2022, 9:00am to 12:00nn via Zoom.
The Gender Sensitivity Training is aimed at developing a deeper understanding of the roles of women and men in society, increase the level of awareness on gender and development, and address gender-related issues in society particularly in the national government sector. Mr. Emmanuel Crismas served as Resource speaker for the whole course of training.
The activity comprises lessons, AVPs, group activities, and sharing of experiences, which overall aims to bring better understanding on the concept of gender, how different genders have varying perspectives, the shared responsibilities of men and women, the critical need to address the gap between genders, and recognize both gender’s equal importance in society to promote a gender-sensitive community.
