College of Education joins collaboration meeting on Outdoor Learning Environment Program (OLEP) implementation


Selected members of the faculty of USeP College of Education attended the Outdoor Learning Environment Program (OLEP) Coordinators’ meeting on May 04, 2023 at the Talomo Central Elementary School, Talomo, Davao City.  The meeting aimed to discuss future collaborations with the Department of Education, Talomo District and the Australian Foundation for Fostering Learning in the Philippines (AFFLIP) in the implementation of the OLEP, an AFFLIP program that focuses on the concept of using the outdoor environment to enhance student learning and where outdoor learning facilities help facilitate interactive academic activities across all learning areas.  The activity explored opportunities on how the USeP College of Education can assist the program implementers in terms of learning materials enhancement, training of teachers, and research.  The team was joined by DepEd School Principals of Talomo District B and Mr. Pat Maloney, AFFLIP coordinator.
