The College of Education partnered with the Department of Education (DepED) Region XI to deliver the Regional Seminar-Workshop on Contextualizing Assessment Across All Learning Areas from September 20-24, 2021. This program brings together teacher representatives from several city school divisions from across the region.
Contextualized Classroom and Learning Experiences, Design Ideas for Contextualized Assessment, Unpacking and Situating MELCS in a Context, Designing Contextualized Written Assessment Tasks, and Analyzing Assessment Data are some of the topics covered in this activity. Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs of the University of Southeastern Philippines, is the keynote speaker for this event (USeP). Dr. Lindy C. Lulab, Dr. Emmie M. Cabanlit, Asst. Prof. Yvonne M. Kiel, Asst. Prof. Henry C. Encabo, and Dr. Roar C. Callaman are among the speakers. The purpose of the event is to contextualize assessment in multiple learning areas in order to provide effective training.
