
[READ] The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) College of Education (CEd) was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Professional Teachers for its outstanding performance in the September 29, 2024, Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) β Secondary Level.
USeP CEd secured the Ninth Place in the national rankings among schools, colleges, and universities with 100 to 299 examinees and an exemplary passing performance of 91.60%. Out of 238 examinees, 218 successfully passed the licensure examination, further cementing the institutionβs reputation for academic excellence and teacher education.
The award was formally received by Dr. Raquel D. Almasa, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Ruby A. Serrano, BSEd Program Head, on February 23, 2025, during a recognition ceremony held at the University of Mindanao Matina Gym, Davao City.
This recognition underscores USePβs commitment to producing highly competent and well-prepared educators. The University continues to uphold its mission of delivering quality education and contributing to the development of the teaching profession in the Philippines.
