The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) proudly celebrates a new milestone as it secures Top 2 among the Top Performing Schools in the 2025 Librarians’ Computer-Based Licensure Examination held on September 4-5, 2025, in key testing centers nationwide, including Davao City.

Out of 40 USeP examinees, 37 successfully passed the exam, earning the University an outstanding 92.50% passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 68.52%. This achievement not only highlights the academic excellence and dedication of USeP’s aspiring librarians but also reaffirms the University’s commitment to producing competent and highly skilled professionals in the field of Library and Information Science.
This success reflects the strength of the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program under the College of Information and Computing (CIC). It is also a testament to the tireless efforts of USeP’s dedicated faculty and review mentors, including those from partner institutions, whose expertise and guidance have helped shape students into exam-ready and profession-ready graduates.
The entire USeP community takes great pride in this accomplishment, a clear reflection of USeP’s mission to deliver quality education and foster professional excellence in the region and beyond.
