The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines for Educational Assistance Program (EAP) on November 19, 2023, at Lioc Kui Fraternity Bldg., Davao City.

With the MoA, the EAP aims to support students who require financial aid to pursue and complete their education.
The ceremonial signing of the MoA was attended by Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, USeP President; Ms. Woon Ng, Deputy CEO of Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines; and Mr. Nelson V. Chua, Officer-in-Charge of Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines Davao Liaison Office.

Also present during the MoA signing were Dr. Jose Alther M. Rivera, USeP-Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) Director; and Dr. Marivic N. Neri, USeP OSAS- Scholarship Unit Deputy Director.

Both parties look forward to the fruits of the said partnership in transforming the lives of students and the community in the endeavor to make a difference in the lives of future nation-builders.

Simultaneous to the signing of the MoA was the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony of the Tzu Chi Foundation’s scholars.
