Twelve (12) Level II Certified Law Student Practitioners (LSPs) took their oath on January 8, 2026, under the guidance of Clinical Legal Education (CLEP) II Faculty-in-Charge, Atty. Arlene M. Lorejo-Cosape. The oath was administered by Hon. Rowena M. Apao-Adlawan, the Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Davao City.
Under Rule 138-A, certified LSPs are allowed limited practice of law, subject to the rules and under the supervision and approval of a supervising lawyer.
These LSPs are expected to help increase access to justice for the marginalized sectors while learning the value of legal professional social responsibility, to prepare them for the practice of law.
