The Mathematics and Statistics Department of the College of Arts and Sciences successfully held a Mathematics Webinar titled “An Introduction to the Theory of Continued Fractions and Related Fields” last May 20, 2022, Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon (Philippine Standard Time) via Zoom.

Professor Hitoshi Nakada, Faculty of Science and Technology of the Department of Mathematics of Keio University, Japan, was the resource speaker during the webinar, giving a lecture on the Theory of Continued Fractions and sharing his research with over a hundred Mathematics students, faculty, and professionals who were in attendance.
