USeP-CAS successfully conducted the Year-end Evaluation and Planning


The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) conducted the year-end evaluation and planning last December 5, 2024, held at the USeP TLE Building.

The morning session started with the opening remarks by CAS Dean Dr. Marnie Grace I. Sonico, followed by the rationale given by the President of College Faculty Association Dr. Ana P. Ocenar.

Two resource speakers from the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) graced the event discuss relevant topics. Dr. Gina Lamzon talked about Embracing Self-Kindness: Towards Becoming (More) Stress-Resilient. Dr. Marleonie Bauyot, Director of the ADDU Center for Educational Research and Advocacy tackled Multidisciplinary Research for Arts and Sciences. The professor emphasized that there should be collaborative effort of experts from different fields to address complex issues and shared the common research goals from the different disciplines.

In the afternoon session, department-level year-end evaluation and action plan were conducted in the respective departments and was presented to the CAS Faculty.

The year-end evaluation and action plan showed how well the academic unit has achieved its targets and set it for the next year.
