[𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃] Earlier today, the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Program of the College of Business Administration conducted a face-to-face seminar on “Fostering Resilience Through Psycho-social Support” with Ms. Ruchela Gamao as the speaker at the University Social Hall.
With the demanding and laborious nature of the BS Accountancy program, it takes competence to thrive in this program and resilience. The changes brought by the sudden shift of classes to online platforms also made the course more challenging for both students and parents. That is why the program aims to promote the students’ well-being by actively and proactively responding to their current needs.
The key takeaway of this activity includes recognizing the demands of the course, appreciating the importance of student, parent/guardian, and teacher collaboration and communication, creating ways to strengthen resilience, and identifying skills that will help thrive in the course.
The active participation of the BS Accountancy students led to a successful activity with the support of the Program Head, Dr. Enrico Yee, Jr, the College Dean, Dr. Gilbert Gordo, and the BS Accountancy Faculty Members, including Dr. Rosfe Corlae Badoy, Asst. Prof. Angelo Jadraque and Ms. Pamela Dawn Patayon.
