CoE, GAD conduct Orientation on Anti-Sexual Harassment and Safe Spaces Act


[𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘] The College of Engineering in partnership with the Gender and Development Office of the university conducted an 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙩 attended by the faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students on September 09, 2022, at 1:00 PM am via Zoom.

The resource speaker for the event was Atty. Jesus A. Villardo III, the Director of the university’s Office of Legal Affairs. The activity is aimed to equipping participants with appropriate information regarding issues affecting gender and development, such as sexual harassment and its various forms, and the crucial steps that a victim should consider.

The College together with the Gender and Development Office and the USeP community, upholds the campaign against anti-sexual harassment, and safe spaces act, whether in public spaces, educational and training institutions, workplaces, or in virtual settings.

The College of Engineering expresses its fervent gratitude to everyone behind the successful conduct of the orientation.
