In a stunning display of academic prowess, the Geodetic Engineering program at the University of Southeastern Philippines continues to achieve unprecedented success in the Geodetic Engineering Licensure Examination (GELE) 2023. We are delighted to report that our school-wide passing rate has surged to an exceptional 68%, a feat that significantly outperforms the national average of 46.67%.

The GELE, a rigorous examination that tests the mettle of geodetic engineering students, has long been known for its complexity, demanding both a profound understanding of theory and the ability to apply geodetic principles in practical situations. USeP’s Geodetic Engineering program has once again demonstrated its dedication to delivering a comprehensive education that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this challenging field.

While the program’s overall success is a testament to its quality, the true stars of this triumph are the individual students who have shone brighter than ever before.

Joshua Carl Jocoy Fajardo, our top performer, emerged with the highest rating in the GELE 2023 with a remarkable 89.60%; Joseph Ray Bote Carmelotes claimed the fifth place, securing an impressive rating of 88.00%; and Jasmine Joyce D. Mamawal secured the seventh spot with an outstanding rating of 86.80%. These top achievers not only exemplify personal dedication but also reflect the nurturing environment and guidance provided by our dedicated faculty members.

This outstanding performance reaffirms our commitment to academic excellence and our ability to prepare students for the demanding geodetic engineering field. The exceptional achievements of top performers like Joshua Carl Jocoy Fajardo, Joseph Ray Bote Carmelotes, and Jasmine Joyce Demetillo Mamawal, and the past topnotchers of the Program exemplify our dedication to producing topnotch geodetic engineers.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to the Faculty of the Geodetic Engineering Program, and the College of Engineering (CoE) for providing rigorous academic training and wholehearted support to the GELE 2023 takers from the University.

Congratulations to all involved in this remarkable achievement!
