USeP-CIC conducts Ceremominal Turnover of Equipment with Training in the Updated Information System

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) – College of Information and Computing (CIC) is mandated to undertake vigorous extension and research programs in various areas of specialization aimed at transforming vulnerable and disadvantaged groups and communities. In partnership with the USAID-Education Development Center (EDC) as the funding agency and the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) as one of our community service partners, the College has been able to provide information systems specifically designed for Out-of-School Youth (OSY). These systems include the Learning Management System for the Alternative Learning System (ALS) and an OSY Information System tailored to facilitate CSWDO’s record-keeping.

Today marks a significant milestone: the Ceremonial Turnover of Equipment and Information System with Training for the Updated Information System provided to the Social Workers of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO). The goal is to equip these individuals with the necessary skills to utilize effectively

the equipment and the information system to manage their records efficiently.
