The Office of the Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (PQuA) is mandated to spearhead the formulation of a uniwide University development plan and policies and procedures for institutional quality assurance; lead accreditation, certification and assessment initiatives while maintaining effective linkages with regional, national, and international quality assurance and accrediting agencies; lead in the development and implementation of a master plan for University infrastructure and facilities; and establish linkage with the different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), bureaus and agencies in Region XI, in the country, and abroad.
The office is responsible for the implementation of the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS), including the monitoring and evaluation of physical and financial performance of the University; management of ICT Systems of the University that includes the back-end infrastructure, digital assets, application servers, intranet and internet services; and preparation of yearly/annual reports along planning, quality assurance and performance management concerns, as well as, correspondence and other reports that the University President may require.
