The College of Applied Economics through the Socioeconomic Research and Data Analytics Center conducted the 2nd CAEc-SERDAC LEARN Research Conference held at Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City, last June 26-27, 2023.

From insightful research studies focusing on Resource and Environmental Economics (REE), Monetary and Financial Economics(MFE), and Development Economics (DE), eight ( 8 ) fourth year undergraduate students of the College of Applied Economics (CAEc) truly impressed us with their expertise and dedication.

The panelists for this research conference were Dr. Sophremiano B. Antipolo, Dr. Purisima G. Bayacag, both professional lecturers at the University, and Dr. Silverio V. Magallon, Jr., a faculty of College of Development and Management (CDM) and is also known as one of the esteemed researchers of the University.

Indeed, “Together we LEARN!: Leading Economic Recovery through Academic Research Navigation”. This research conference aims to empower our faculty and students to produce high-quality evidence-based policy research. It also served as a platform for researchers at the undergraduate and graduate levels to present their completed studies while keeping them updated on current economic issues and challenges, potentially inspiring their future thesis topics.
