University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) and Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Launch Economics E-COIL Program

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), through its College of Applied Economics (CAEc), is officially launching the Economics Collaborative Online International Learning (E-COIL) Program. This 35-day virtual engagement, running from October 30 to December 12, 2025, marks a significant step in the University’s mission to foster world-class delivery of its academic programs through international collaboration.ย

In partnership with Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in Indonesia, this innovative program brings together 180 participantsโ€”including 30 students from USeP and 148 from UBโ€”to work in a borderless digital environment. The project, titled “Review of Research Articles in Scopus-indexed Economics Journals,” is designed to train students in the critical evaluation of high-impact research and the real-world application of economic theories.

This program is a direct implementation of the USeP Strategic Plan 2022-2027, which aims to deliver future-driven academic programs through transdisciplinary and alternative learning modalities. By promoting student and faculty mobility, CAEc continues to build dreams without limits, transforming communities in the ASEAN region and beyond.
