The College of Applied Economics, through the Academic, Research, and International Societal Exchange (ARISE) Program, invites 3rd Year BS Economics students, faculty, staff, and other interested participants, to a Lecture on Socio-Economic Research with Dr. Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong of Tra Vinh University, Vietnam, on April 27, 9:00 AM โ 12:00 PM at the College of Engineering AVR.
As part of ARISE 2026, this lecture series strengthens CAEcโs internationalization efforts by promoting global knowledge exchange, collaborative learning, and stronger academic and research linkages. It also underscores the importance of socio-economic research in understanding real-world development issues and in shaping evidence-based, inclusive, and sustainable policies.
This lecture is especially relevant for 3rd Year BS Economics students as it complements their learning in Economic Research and deepens their appreciation of research as a tool for analyzing socio-economic issues and contributing to development.
