ICAS 2023: International Conference on Arts and Sciences

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Rachel Anne Herrera serves as a commissioner in the Climate Change Commission where she spearheads the agency’s work programs on gender, climate finance, and single-use plastics. She is a Member of the 8 th Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN) Forum Ad-hoc Advisory Committee and a former Alternate Board Member of the Green Climate Fund. She has also represented the country in climate negotiations and conferences, notably, during the 27th and 23rd Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Previously, she advised the Senate of the Philippines committees on climate change, finance, foreign affairs, and environment and served as court attorney in the Supreme Court. She obtained her degrees in law from the University of the Philippines and in environmental science from Ateneo de Manila University.

RATIONALE

ICAS: NOVEMBER 2023 ONLINE CONFERENCE

As USeP rigorously envisions upholding internationalization in ASEAN and beyond, the Research and Development Center for Arts and Sciences (RDCAS) annually showcases research outputs heightening the internationalization landscape for research. CAS faculty and students, and researchers across the region and beyond continually enhance collaboration through exchanging of ideas in uplifting cultural, economic, environmental, and social aspects of the country. It is an immense commitment of the College to embrace the advancement of fourth industrial revolution (FIRe).

This is another milestone for hosting the 3^rd International Conference for Arts and Sciences 2023.
