A University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) College of Education student placed 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 in the 𝗗𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶 during the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 hosted by Region VI and led by West Visayas State University from April 8–11, 2026 in Iloilo City. 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮, a BSEd Filipino 2 student, represented the University and competed with delegates from various state universities and colleges nationwide.

The event, organized by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), showcased excellence in culture and the arts while promoting Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education through communication and cultural development. Melliza’s achievement, under the guidance of Ms. 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘂𝘇, reflected the College of Education’s continued commitment to producing competent and culturally grounded future educators.
