[ICYMI] The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) College of Education ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฃ๐—ต๐˜†๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—˜๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป (๐—•๐—ฃ๐—˜๐—ฑ) delegation secured the ๐Ÿฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ข๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป title during the first-ever face-to-face BPEd Region XI Games held on May 2, 2026, at the University of Mindanao โ€“ Main Campus. The event brought together 12 Higher Education Institutions across the region and showcased excellence in sports, artistry, and student leadership.

USeP College of Education BPEd athletes delivered strong performances across multiple events. ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜†๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ฎ and ๐—š๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ถ ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ won the gold medal in Dancesports Modern Standard, while ๐—œ๐˜ƒ๐˜† ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐˜€รก๐—ป and ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—•๐—ถ๐—น๐—น ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜ placed first in the Latin category. In athletics, ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜†๐—น๐—น ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—ป earned silver in the womenโ€™s 400-meter dash, while ๐—”๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฐ๐—ผ secured bronze in the same event. ๐—–๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—š๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐˜‡ and ๐—”๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ถ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—”๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ also added a bronze medal in badminton mixed doubles.

In the Mr. and Miss BPEd Region XI competition, ๐—œ๐˜ƒ๐˜† ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐˜€รก๐—ป and ๐—œ๐˜€๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ž๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป represented USeP. The delegation placed 1st Runner-up in the Mr. BPEd category and 4th Runner-up in the Ms. BPEd category, and received special awards, including Mr. Sustainable Development Goals Advocate, Mr. Creative Attire, and Mr. Internship Uniform.

The team was led by Program Head Dr. Benjie Q. Badon, with coaches Dr. Pearl Ann Mancao, Dr. Ava Sheildin Guerrero, Ms. Catherine Ison, and Mr. Arnie Josef Manacap.

The competition supported the United Nations’ goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), by promoting student development through sports, wellness, and values formation, and by strengthening collaboration among future educators.
