The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) College of Education (CEd) has once again demonstrated academic excellence after being recognized by the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers for its outstanding performance in the September/November 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

USeP College of Education ranked 𝗡𝗼. 𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 and 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 among schools, colleges, and universities with exemplary performance in the said examination, affirming its strong tradition of producing quality educators.

The recognition was formally conferred during the Oath of Profession for the successful examinees of the September/November 2025 LEPT held on February 15, 2026, at the University of Mindanao in Davao City. During the ceremony, the Board for Professional Teachers awarded Certificates of Recognition to top performing schools, including USeP CEd.

The Certificate of Recognition was formally received by Dr. Raquel D. Almasa, Dean of the College of Education, together with Dr. Ruby A. Serrano, Program Head of the Bachelor of Secondary Education program, on behalf of the University.

The distinction further strengthens the reputation of USeP as one of the leading institutions in teacher education in the region. It reflects the collective dedication of its faculty, administrators, and students in upholding excellence in instruction, research, and professional preparation.
With this milestone, USeP continues to affirm its vital role in shaping future educators who are equipped with competence, integrity, and a deep commitment to nation-building.
