The dance delegation from the University of Southeastern Philippines College of Education (USeP CEd), performing as part of the ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ, showcased remarkable talent and creativity after earning top spots in the PASUC XI Regional Culture and the Arts Festival dance competitions.
Competing against student performers from various state universities and colleges across the region, the USeP College of Education dance team secured ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ-๐๐ฝ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, presenting a powerful performance that celebrated cultural heritage through expressive choreography, vibrant movements, and traditional storytelling.
The team also demonstrated versatility and energy in the ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ผ๐ฟ๐, delivering a dynamic, synchronized routine that placed them ๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ-๐๐ฝ in the competition.
The dancers were guided by Dr. Benjie Q. Badon, Dance Arts Coordinator of the University, with support from Leah Tajale, trainer for Indigenous Dance, and Neil Guyo and Fe Paradero, trainers for Streetdance. The Sahaya Dance Collective is led by its president, Julius Cesar Ricarte, whose leadership and dedication, along with the coaching team, prepared the dancers for the highly competitive festival.
The achievements of the CEd dance team from Sahaya Dance Collective highlight the collegeโs continued commitment to developing studentsโ talents not only in academics but also in culture and the arts, promoting holistic learning, creativity, and cultural appreciation among future educators.
