Walking down the memory lane of the College of Education, it’s been a profilic 16 years since a lady commando administered the coronels and generals of the academe. The last time the of valiant ladies was raised was when Dr. Cecilia E buco assented the deanship for three consecutive years from 1999-2003. Now, another brave woman recieves the greatest responsibility as being the clean, Dr. Marlyn D. Biton. Dr. Biton, with her humble nature, accepts the fact that the handover of deanship is a great obligation even though she was the former dean’s right hand.

“There were a lot of things to be managed and ooked into especially the physical environment of the college” states Dr. Biton, but together with the second in command- Dr. Juse Lyn C. Hiponia, the new Associate Dean and the rest of her battalion, the preparation for the tnew K-12 Curriculum and for ASEAN integration would not be a head cramp. Facing the new characterized Kinder to Grade 12 curriculum, the administration flourished in preparing the college’s research and extension programs for the advancement of the new opposite curriculum. And a parcel of preparations for ASEAN integration is the college’s bond with different private associations in Indonesia, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Vietnam. The evolution of the college is on its way.
