The College of Education partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd)–Division of Davao City in the conduct of a two-day training workshop on Teaching Braille Reading and Writing Using a Modified Braille on January 25-26, 2021, via Zoom.
The training workshop is designed to capacitate not only the Special Education (SpEd) teachers but all educators in teaching Braille literacy to learners with visual impairment in their institutions using the modified Braille technology. Ms. Sarrah Mae B. Villoria, a faculty from the College of Teacher Education and Technology (CTET) of the University of Southeastern Philippines, served as resource speaker.
