
The Mathematics and Statistics Department (MSD) of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) hosted a one-day Workshop on Repackaging Undergraduate/Graduate Thesis for Publication last April 4, 2025. The activity aimed at empowering participants with the skills to repackage their undergraduate and graduate theses into scholarly publications, including journal articles and conference papers.
Held at the Research, Extension, Accreditation, and Thesis Room at the CAS Building, the workshop featured presentations of theses samples from student-researchers, followed by invaluable feedback and suggestions from the esteemed faculty members for improvement.
Present during the workshop were Dr. Marnie Grace I. Sonico, Dean of CAS; Dr. Ariel C. Pedrano, Program Head of BS Mathematics, and MS Applied Mathematics; Dr. Anthony F. Capili, Program Head of BS Statistics, and the faculty members of MSD.
