The College of Business Administration successfully conducted its annual Research Concept Paper Presentation last September 6, 2024, through the Google Meet platform. This virtual event served as a key academic initiative aimed at sharpening the research skills of its students and aligning their research outputs with current business trends.
The participants, composed of aspiring researchers from the Masters and PhD programs, presented their manuscripts which were rigorously critiqued by a panel of faculty members. This constructive feedback session was not just about identifying gaps and weaknesses but was mainly focused on helping students refine their research ideas, methodologies, and approaches.
Faculty members, acting as both mentors and critics, provided insightful comments on how to enhance the relevance and depth of each research proposal. In a landscape where business and commerce are evolving at a rapid pace, ensuring that research aligns with emerging trends was one of the focal points of the discussion.
The atmosphere of the presentation was one of collaboration, with faculty guiding participants to strengthen the foundations of their conceptualized studies. This year’s emphasis was on ensuring that the proposed research would not only contribute to academic knowledge but also provide practical insights that resonate with the real-world demands of business industries.
Ultimately, the event underscored the importance of continuous improvement in research and the need for alignment with contemporary business issues.
