USeP CED partners with SEAMEO-INNOTECH in its Design and Development of Multi-media Instructional Materials for Alternative Learning System (ALS) Implementers


The College of Education (CEd) successfully held its two-day Seminar-Workshop on Design and Development of Multi-media Instructional Materials for Alternative Learning System (ALS) Implementers last March 17-18, 2022 at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City. This face-to-face activity is in partnership with Southeast Minister of Education, Organization, Innovation and Technology (SEAMEO-INNOTECH).

Dr. Velma S. Labad, project leader, set the purpose and deliverables of the live-in seminar-workshop. Highlights of the activity were the actual presentation of the macro and micro lesson designs aligned to Southeast Asia Teachers Competency Framework (SEA-TCF), Global Competency Framework (GCF) and Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) using the revised Alternative Learning System (ALS) Competencies. The activity targets to produce seven (7) modules in the areas of Curriculum and Planning, Content Knowledge and Pedagogy, Assessment and Reporting, Learning Environment, Diversity of Learners, Understanding the Community and Personal Growth and Professional Development.
